Following Mikhail Bakhtin’s concepts of double-voicing and the chronotope and understandings of folktales and media technology from the work of anthropologist Paul Manning, this poster discusses how characters and figures can explore externalized “thinking with.” Inspired by XR technology and supported by queered analyses of video game landscapes and bodies, this poster imagines how ideas and theory are rendered as forms and animated in virtual space.
